We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Care team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective coordination of care with other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to the healthcare team.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
