Job Summary

Bollinger Shipyards seeks a skilled Short-Arc Welder to join our team. As a Short-Arc Welder, you will be responsible for welding together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld structural metal components using Short-Arc (GMAW) welding techniques.
  • Meet minimum requirements of 6 months Short-Arc (GMAW) welding experience.
  • Pass a hands-on 3G/4G Short-Arc (GMAW) welding test with the 3G position welded with downhill progression and 4G welded entirely in the overhead position.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months Short-Arc (GMAW) welding experience.
  • Ability to pass a hands-on 3G/4G Short-Arc (GMAW) welding test.
