Job Description:

As the U.S. Psychiatric Medicaid Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to improve equity for psychiatric patients within virtual care.

">

You'll work closely with the U.S. MD Advisor team to provide exceptional support to physicians and programs, driving growth and optimization of the medical side of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Recruiting, supporting, and overseeing psychiatry services within Rocket Doctor in the United States.">
  • Collaborating with the provider success team to ensure seamless onboarding of patients with Medicaid, streamlined credentialing processes, and educating new MDs on requirements.">
  • Leading liaison efforts with our billing provider on Medicaid billing and psychiatric care-related questions.">
  • Providing expert guidance asynchronously and occasionally synchronously on Slack for psychiatrists and RD staff facing complex issues.">
  • Developing Medicaid requirements in the physician handbook in collaboration with the USMDA.">
  • Driving project or grant-related work requiring expertise on Medicaid billing to enhance patient outcomes and utility of RD.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist in the US.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to represent Rocket Doctor positively and professionally.">
  • Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism as set by state licensing bodies and promptly reporting any formal complaints to Rocket Doctor.">
  • Diligent troubleshooting and planning to address emerging psychiatry and Medicaid billing roadblocks and challenges.">
  • Effective proactive management of the psychiatrist journey.">
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic medical records, RD extensions, and HIPAA requirements.">
  • Broad business and technical acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.">
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional relationships with all RD staff and patient correspondence.">
  • Ability to work with sensitive company information.">
