  • Ensure the safe and effective provision and use of medications for patients.
  • Develop and implement medication therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and improve health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with current rules and regulations governing pharmacy practice and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile and parenteral products, with precision and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Utilize computer systems and technology to manage medication records, track patient data, and optimize pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

  • Current/valid Pharmacist license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
  • 1 to 2 years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current pharmacy practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
