About the Role

We are seeking a skilled String Instrument Repair Technician to join our team at Music & Arts. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring that musical instruments are returned to their owners in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain a variety of musical instruments, including string instruments, brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working on musical instruments, with a strong understanding of repair techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience working on musical instruments, with advanced knowledge of repair techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
