Our growing partner is a dynamic organization seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Tax Manager to lead our team, manage client relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality tax services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax compliance, tax planning, and strategy, as well as excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver high-quality tax services for our clients.
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks while coordinating accounting staff and assessing their performance.
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Prepare all tax paperwork in accordance with regulations and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven work experience as a tax manager with expertise in tax compliance, tax planning, and strategy.
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- Knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Proficient in managing deliverables and meeting timelines.
- Strong knowledge of estate and trust taxation, SCorp, and 1065 tax issues.
- Experience in working with high net worth individuals and managing their tax issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex tax issues in simple terms.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
