As a facility custodian, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facility Upkeep:
    • Performing cleaning tasks such as waste disposal, recycling collection, rearranging furniture, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
    • Maintaining floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming.
    • Daily sanitation and disinfection of restrooms, including restocking essential supplies like soap and paper products.
    • Outdoor maintenance including plant watering, lawn care, and entryway upkeep.
    • Proper application of pest control measures and maintenance of custodial equipment.
    • Executing minor repairs on furniture and equipment.
    • Reporting any safety issues or hazards to management.
    • Securing all windows, doors, and gates.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in a custodial or janitorial position is preferred.
    • Understanding of safety protocols, particularly in chemical handling.
    • Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance tasks.
    • Physical capability to perform 8-hour shifts and lift items up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to accurately follow instructions and work with various tools.
    • Agility for tasks such as bending, squatting, and working at heights.
    • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of custodial equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Work Location: On-site
