Toddler Caregiver

River Crossing YMCA is a charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Specialist to join our team as an Assistant Toddler Teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a safe and nurturing environment that encourages physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program.
• Lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children by following state and YMCA guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with parents and communicate effectively with them.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working with children, either professionally, voluntarily, or through babysitting.
• High school graduate; college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field are preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided).
