Overview

Cortland Dental and Braces, a Benevis company, is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a valued member of our dental care team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist.
  • Provide general support to the office, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.
  • Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction, promoting healthy habits and a positive attitude towards dental care.
  • Assess the dental condition and needs of patients, reviewing medical history and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Guide parents and patients through the entire treatment process, ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience.
  • Assist with dental and perio charting, taking x-rays and saving into patient charts as needed.
  • Provide memorable patient experiences by showing compassion and empathy, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
  • Experience is great, but not always required; we welcome candidates with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Speak another language? That may be very helpful here.
