Staff Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with ongoing field and engineering design efforts related to dams and embankment design, storm water management, site development, water and wastewater engineering, and other engineering design projects.

• Assist with field investigations and engineering design efforts for dams and embankments, storm water management, site development, water and wastewater engineering, and other engineering design projects.
• Conduct geotechnical field investigations and perform engineering analysis and calculations.
• Prepare permit, bidding, and documentation drawing sets, as well as hydrogeologic and geologic characterization drawings.
• Develop Civil 3D models of major earthwork components of dams, landfills, and mining projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to assemble final plan sets.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Must have passed the FE exam.
• 0-5 years of civil design experience with dams, embankment design, water, wastewater, roads, landfill, remediation, or mining projects.
• Experience with standard analysis programs, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office programs, and surface water management programs is desired.
