About the Role

GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment, including production machinery and facility infrastructure
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and completing necessary repairs
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes and equipment, and provide training to other team members as needed
  • Process products that require testing and mechanical evaluation, and complete cosmetic repairs to restore products to sellable condition
  • Perform scheduled routine machine maintenance, including disassembling, cleaning and inspecting machine mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, low-voltage electrical and coolant systems
Requirements
  • Knowledge of and experience reading simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction and repair work
  • Excellent communication skills with managers, employees and vendors while delivering status reports and performing maintenance and repair work, machinery installations or moves
