This position is located in California, MD and offers an estimated salary of $12,939 - $14,639 per week, based on 40 hours of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers medically prescribed physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability following an injury or loss of a body part under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Educates patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding physical therapy on an on-going basis
  • Observes and evaluates patient responses during treatment, documents and reports findings to Physical Therapist
  • Follows hospital safety rules and procedures

Requirements:

  • One to three years' experience as a PTA preferred
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
