About the Role

Clover Sonoma is seeking a skilled and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a wide variety of dairy products to various locations in Northern CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dairy products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a commercial delivery vehicle and inspect it regularly to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Unload and load cold dairy products to and from the customer
  • Complete logs and reports accurately and on time
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards at all times
  • Use a handheld computer device to track deliveries and manage routes
  • Execute all job duties in accordance with Clover's rigorous Food Safety and Quality programs and policies

Requirements:

  • Current Commercial Class "A" Driver's license
  • Experience as a delivery driver
  • Solid driving record with no traffic violations
  • Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in cold refrigerated vehicles and grocery coolers, preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or carry at least 50lbs; bend, twisting
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED

Clover Sonoma is a 24 hour/7 days a week processing and distribution plant. Work schedules vary, flexibility is critical. Shifts are typically four (4), ten (10) hour days.
