Our CFO Advisory Services team is dedicated to assisting clients in scaling their operations and navigating substantial business transactions. We merge our extensive technical and business consulting knowledge to help fulfill our clients' strategic objectives. We are in search of a diligent, self-motivated individual to become part of Armanino's CFO Advisory team. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Financial Planning and Analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and creating pro-forma financial documents.
  • Offer technical guidance on US GAAP and SEC standards, including accounting research, documentation, and client presentations.
  • Prepare precise external financial statements for clients, auditors, or the SEC, encompassing the preparation, review, submission, and distribution of periodic financial reports such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and enhance the financial accounting close process, streamlining monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Act as a liaison for clients with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate audit preparations.
  • Support Cash to Accrual Accounting post-transaction, prepare Opening Balance Sheets, and manage Purchase Accounting.
  • Oversee and ensure high-quality client delivery; execute services and deliverables related to Operational and Technical Accounting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop CFO Advisory team members, actively engaging in career advisory and performance review processes.
  • Foster a team culture conducive to scaling a rapidly growing consulting business.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior executives at client organizations and private equity sponsors, leveraging these connections to generate new projects and leads.
  • Assist the business development team with client delivery or sector-specific expertise.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the market and promote a culture of growth.
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services by taking personal responsibility for fact-driven, solution-oriented client engagements.
  • Supervise team execution.
  • Provide senior project leadership and manage client expectations.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in a client-facing role at a prestigious public accounting or financial advisory firm, and/or senior-level private industry experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Strong and current knowledge of US GAAP (exposure to IFRS is advantageous), with a deep technical understanding of topics such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, lease transactions, purchase accounting, etc., and experience within the technical accounting or SEC reporting team of a company.
