Job Overview

Elmington Property Management is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to maintain the appearance and upkeep of our Lexington, KY property, The Callaway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of grounds, including parking lots, buildings, and common areas.
  • Cleaning out vacated apartments.
  • Assisting the Service Team with service requests as needed.
  • Addressing issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and coworkers.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email and company software.
  • Meeting task deadlines as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to pick up debris and remove objects from the property.
  • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Accurately reporting all time worked.
  • Following company policies and procedures.
