Job Title: School Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Social Worker to join our team at Soliant.

Job Summary:

Soliant is currently seeking a School Social Worker to provide social and emotional support to students in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field and valid State School Social Worker certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school, community agencies, and families to coordinate resources and support services for students.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' social and emotional goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Valid State School Social Worker certification.
  • Previous experience working as a school social worker or in a similar role preferred.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of social and emotional learning principles and best practices.
