This hourly position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This Maintenance Apprentice role involves a combination of on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom instruction. Participants will be enrolled in a multi-year program to meet the required OJT and educational hours each year.

Responsibilities
  • Complete the required OJT and educational obligations of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.
  • Learn to use, repair, install, read, and troubleshoot equipment and machinery in various areas, including electrical, programmable logic controls, machine repair, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Maintain equipment and perform necessary PM-related activities.
  • Learn to read and comprehend technical information.
  • Develop organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Foster a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations and setting an example for others.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to colleagues.
  • Punctually attend work with a strong attendance record.
  • Achieve a job performance rating of 'Satisfactory'.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
