About the Role

As a Certified Dialysis Nurse, you will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team caring for patients who require continued care to recover completely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify individualized needs
  • Perform renal replacement therapy treatments with precision and accuracy, adhering to nephrologist orders
  • Prepare dialysis treatment areas with necessary supplies, demonstrating expertise in nursing procedures and renal replacement therapy
  • Ensure dialysis machines and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition
  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education on treatment plans, procedures, and preventative measures
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate school of nursing and a current state license to practice nursing
  • At least 2 years of current experience in the specialty or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification
  • Current BLS certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
  • Ability to safely operate dialysis machines
