We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires expertise in labor and delivery, with responsibilities extending to medical-surgical nursing as needed.
Certification Requirements- ACLS Certification
- AWHONN Advanced Certification
- NRP Certification
- BLS Certification
- All certifications are mandatory
- Function as a Labor and Delivery RN with the ability to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units from 18:30 to 6:00.
- Manage an average daily patient census of 9 across all units.
- Oversee approximately 10 deliveries monthly.
- Provide primary nursing care during labor (1:1-2 ratio) and postpartum (1:1-3 ratio).
- Assist in the MedSurg unit as required, including responding to call lights, patient assistance, and medication administration.
- Participate in every other weekend coverage.
- Deliver comprehensive care across all areas of the OB unit, including Ante-Partum, Labor, Post-Partum, and Newborn care.
- Work in a level 1 nursery, transferring newborns as necessary for specialized care.
- First-time travelers may be considered based on prior experience.
- Shifts are scheduled from 18:30 to 6:00.
- Guaranteed hours include 40 hours per week.
- Travel/Crisis assignments require 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts or 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts.
- Client assumes financial responsibility for guaranteed hours in case of cancellations or facility closures.
- On-call hours do not contribute to the guaranteed minimum hours.
- A government-issued photo ID is required.
- An Emergency Contact Form must be completed prior to commencement.
