Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Oakmont Senior Living. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of residents to various destinations, while also providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate community vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the safe loading and unloading of residents and their belongings onto and off-of-community vehicles.
  • Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings and excursions, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork and cooperation with co-workers and other departments.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have a valid Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
