About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed Signal IP Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our hardware engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality analog IP for our cutting-edge mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog IP for mobile devices, ensuring high-quality standards and seamless integration with other hardware components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chip design, system HW and SW design, and ATE PE, to drive technical discussions and ensure successful product integration.
  • Supervise IP design, characterization, and debug, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Review and sign off on specifications, test plans, and characterization reports, ensuring compliance with Apple's quality standards.
  • Support Apple system teams with product integration, bring-up, and debug, ensuring smooth product launch and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in analog IC design, with a strong understanding of transistor device characteristics and power, area, and performance trade-offs in mixed-signal designs.
  • Hands-on design expertise in at least 3 of the following areas: LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, SerDes, band-gap reference, filter design, and switched capacitor circuit design.
  • Experience with advanced CMOS processes (45nm and below) and knowledge of Analog IC design flow and tools.
  • Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities, with excellent written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSEE required, plus 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with Apple's hardware engineering processes and tools.
