Are you a devoted Christian couple eager to impact young lives positively? This is a remarkable opportunity to provide essential support and care to children in a nurturing, safe, and faith-based environment.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs a House Parent Couple, your primary role will be to ensure the overall well-being of the children entrusted to you. This includes:
- Assisting children with their daily routines
- Offering emotional support and guidance
- Creating a home-like atmosphere that promotes growth and learning
This position requires a commitment of 8 consecutive days of duty (24 hours a day) followed by 7 days off. You will be supported by a dedicated team, including an education coordinator, tutors, and social workers, all aimed at fostering a sense of community and ensuring your success.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidates will embody a strong commitment to our mission and possess the ability to adapt to various roles within the home. This position not only allows you to serve children in need but also offers an opportunity for spiritual growth as a couple. You will be teaching values of love, compassion, resilience, and hope.
Essential QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Both individuals must hold a GED or high school diploma
- Previous experience in caregiving or parenting is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills for diverse situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check
This role is supervised by the Residential Case Coordinator (RCC)/Team Leader and Senior House Parent Couple, ensuring a structured and supportive environment for both the caregivers and the children.
