K2 Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled SCADA Integration Engineer to join our team. We specialize in delivering comprehensive integration solutions, including system architecture, programming, implementation, performance evaluations, network assistance, and ongoing support. Our focus is on advanced technologies such as Wonderware InTouch/System Platform, Inductive Automation Ignition, FactoryTalk, and Modicon / Allen Bradley / Automation Direct / ControlWave.
Our team is recognized for its technical expertise in water management systems across southern California. We pride ourselves on our collaborative environment and are looking for both Associate and Senior level systems integrators who are eager to contribute and grow within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients to assess their requirements
- Evaluate SCADA systems and provide informed recommendations
- Program PLCs effectively
- Design and develop SCADA interface screens
- Configure and program OIT terminals
- Set up and troubleshoot wireless communication systems
- Resolve issues across all SCADA components
- Assist in the preparation of new project proposals and bids
- Collaborate with management to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Commit to continuous learning and enhance proficiency in new and existing technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solid grasp of systematic troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proficient in verbal, written, and digital communication
- Innovative and creative mindset
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of SCADA programming experience
- Certification in Systems Platform for at least five years
- Independent and proficient in all aspects of SCADA programming
- Ability to establish and maintain standards for SCADA systems and associated telemetry, including:
- OIT Application development for Red Lion
- PLC programming for Modicon
- HMI Development using AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform and InTouch
- Efficiently manage tasks within designated timeframes
- Reliable transportation is required
- System Platform certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
- 3+ years of experience in SCADA programming for water management systems
- Familiarity with alternative PLC systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Automation Direct)
- Experience with various SCADA interfaces (e.g., Ignition, Factory Talk View, Iconics Genesis)
- Field experience with wireless communication technologies such as GE MDS, Freewave, or Ubiquiti
- Knowledge of Cisco routers
- Understanding of Ethernet networking technologies and architectures
