As a Junior Systems Engineer, your role will encompass supporting the evening operations of our studio. This includes setting up and maintaining technology, resolving technical challenges, and assisting with various productions.

You will have the chance to engage with state-of-the-art technology and gain insights from seasoned professionals in the field.


Key Responsibilities:


- Act as a proactive technologist committed to understanding our business processes and providing support for users, critical media, and IT systems, as well as new projects and initiatives.

- Collaborate with internal and external Technical Support teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and issues.


- Offer troubleshooting and support for users, applications, systems, and infrastructure.

- Acquire knowledge of our business processes and develop an understanding of workflows related to all distribution systems, including linear and IP fabric for video infrastructures, virtualized environments, encoding/decoding platforms, newsgathering tools, NLE, Media Asset Management systems, and emerging technologies.

- Work alongside the Technology team to assess, test, and implement upgrades to all platform operating systems, applications, and hardware.


- Stay informed about risks and issues associated with modifications to mitigate potential system impacts.

- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies.

- Install and configure new technologies.


- Adhere to system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.

- Produce work that is consistently professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.


- Perform additional duties as required.
