Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Wait Staff to join our team at the Town of Smyrna, TN. As a Banquet Wait Staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to our patrons, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Set up and break down banquet events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other amenities.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the Event Center Banquet Captain and other staff members to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Perform general housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash and recyclables.
  • Assist with food and beverage inventory management, ensuring accurate counts and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in food service and customer service.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Server experience in a restaurant or banquet facility is preferred.
  • Excellent hospitality, time management, and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
