This is a rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Piedmont Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Provide nursing care to patients ranging from infant to geriatric
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
  • Float to other nursing units as needed

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
  • Attends IV Therapy training and/or demonstrates competency in intravenous therapy within one year
  • Maintains competency and/or certification specific to departmental requirements
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
  • Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s) encouraged

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hospital experience
  • Management and teaching ability
  • Ability to assume the role of a Charge Nurse as needed/requested
