About the Role

Selectek is seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, reviewing, and submitting proposals for various structural engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and review structural design work, including design criteria, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Engage in quality assurance, code compliance, permit identification, and submittal, as well as engineering studies, inspections, and structural investigations.
  • Review and implement surveys, borings, and foundation design and analysis.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines on technical resolution and project development, status, and delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a position with emphasis on structural design and analysis.
  • PE registration preferred, EIT acceptable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Steel and Frame, RAM Elements, ENERCALC, and other relevant software.
  • Experience in the analysis and design of steel, light gauge steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures for static and dynamic loading from foundation to superstructure.
  • Strong understanding of industry and regulatory practices and trends.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $36.06-$50.48 per hour ($75,000-$105,000 annual salary).
  • 6-month temporary to direct hire assignment.
  • Business casual work attire.
  • Some overtime and travel may be required.
