Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who appreciate the Ace Hardware brand, enjoy customer interaction, and are skilled in at least three trades. Relevant trades include carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring, door and window installation, light plumbing and electrical work, as well as various handyman tasks.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a professional appearance, and excellent customer service skills. You should possess solid communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing you to engage positively with a diverse range of clients, coworkers, and management.


Specific Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter/Craftsman/Handyman
  • Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Possession of a standard set of tools for all required trades
  • Access to a truck or van
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and invoicing capabilities
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
