Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As a School OT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of students by providing therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their full potential in school activities and daily life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' functional abilities and needs, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address their goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both group and one-on-one settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional goals, and maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • IEP Meetings and Educational Plans: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with best practices and evidence-based interventions in pediatric occupational therapy, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania state OT license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered services.
