About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe execution.
  • Select exposure factors and administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities or concerns.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and other designated spaces.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
