Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations on mortgage applications
  • Examine and interpret various financial documentation
  • Accurately calculate financial ratios
  • Generate reports and liaise with applicants, brokers, and legal representatives
  • Enter data into the loan origination system
  • Support the preparation of loan documentation for finalization

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit underwriting for both residential and commercial mortgage loans
  • At least 2 years of experience in reviewing appraisal documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong computer skills with a solid understanding of credit reports
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to manage relationships effectively while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a flexible approach
