Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced College and Career Readiness Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, and local high schools to support students in achieving their postsecondary goals. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and local high schools to support students in achieving their postsecondary goals.
  • Guide students in creating a strong, balanced wishlist aligned with their individual interests and academic profile.
  • Conduct ongoing check-ins with students to assess their passion, purpose, and plan and relate it to their wishlist.
  • Support students in registering and preparing for the official ACT or SAT exam.
  • Track meeting notes and student data consistently and accurately in a number of portals.
  • Analyze student data to drive action planning and support plans.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with traditionally under-served students and their families from diverse socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Previous experience with Postsecondary Access or Postsecondary Success Counseling.
  • Previous experience in Miami Postsecondary Access preferred.
