Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Area Temps, Inc. in the Greater Cleveland area.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC Laser Turret Punch Machines, Panel Benders, and Press Brakes to fabricate metal components
  • Set up and operate brake press and punch press equipment to produce high-quality parts
  • Use precision tools such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates or rulers to ensure accurate measurements
  • Operate handheld overhead crane and forklift to move heavy equipment and materials
  • Inspect parts and verify conformance to blueprint specifications using strong attention to detail
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely, meeting target completion dates
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior manufacturing experience, particularly with mechanical Press Brake or Laser Cutting Machine operation, is essential
  • At least 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Laser, Turret Punch Press, Press Brake, and Panel Bender Machines is required
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills are necessary for success in this role
  • Knowledge and experience using precision tools, reading blueprints, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required
