Key Responsibilities:- Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough interviews with patients and review their medical histories to gather comprehensive information.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs and blood work, to assess patient readiness for surgery or invasive procedures.
- Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on results from diagnostic tests to ensure timely and appropriate medical action.
- Consultations: Provide expert consultations for inpatient and emergency room cases, contributing to a cohesive care plan.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a Clinical Medical Assistant to ensure seamless patient management and efficient workflow.
Monday to Friday, with flexible 5-8 hour shifts.
Inpatient and ER consults, with a focus on absorbing practice panel.
1:1 support with a Clinical Medical Assistant to enhance patient care and optimize your clinical practice.
Qualifications:- Licensed Advanced Practice Clinician (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on preoperative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
