Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to become a vital part of our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide thorough legal counsel on a variety of labor and employment issues, offering strategic insights and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver proactive legal guidance on a wide array of employment and labor topics, including employee relations, human resources policies, recruitment, terminations, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace investigations.
  • Represent the organization in litigation proceedings across federal and state courts, as well as before administrative bodies and arbitrators.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to employment.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to inform the development of company policies and strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations governing employment and labor.
  • Provide training and educational resources to HR and management on employment law matters.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal professionals to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and support the organization’s strategic goals.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employment law, litigation, and labor relations.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment legislation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, research, and litigation capabilities.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work autonomously, and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of professional ethics, integrity, and respect.
  • Proven capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
