Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert to assist in identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to various cyber operations, including defense systems and emerging technologies.
  • Support operations research analysis for intelligence and contingency operations, contributing to operational-level planning and strategic engagement.
  • Analyze operational activities to provide a quantitative basis for decision-making, utilizing scientific and economic methodologies.
  • Collaborate with research analysts to develop modeling techniques for complex problem-solving and data evaluation.
  • Assist in the development of cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and operational effectiveness studies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and visual aids to facilitate metrics analysis and present findings to senior officials.
Qualifications

Required:
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10 years with a Master’s degree; or 16 years of experience with a high school diploma.
  • Proven experience in writing analytical studies that address senior leadership inquiries and support decision-making processes.
  • A minimum of five years in an Operations Planner role within cyberspace operations.
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills, including the ability to create briefings and operational planning documents.
  • Experience in reviewing and ensuring compliance with strategies, policies, and directives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Defensive Cyberspace Operations.
  • Proficiency in government and corporate communication tools, including MS Office and task management systems.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, along with an active DOD TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred:
  • Relevant certifications such as DoD IAT II or higher (e.g., SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, Security+ CE).
  • Experience in developing dashboards and reports using tools like Splunk, ArcSight, or Elastic/Kibana.
