Job Overview
Campus Housekeeper Lead is responsible for assisting the EVS manager and leading coworkers in performing their assignments. This role models technical skills, behavior, and compliance with department processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist supervisors and managers with day-to-day operations of the EVS Department.
  • Perform all other department jobs as listed in job descriptions.
  • Ensure Custodial Workers/Housekeepers respond appropriately and in a timely manner to communication methods.
  • Complete assigned daily tasks and serve as backup to perform daily tasks of Custodial Workers/Housekeepers.
  • Train and coach current and new staff to meet department and organization standards.
  • Assist with keeping Custodial Workers/Housekeepers informed of departmental changes and health system events.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 3 or more years of housekeeping experience.
  • Ability to operate handheld communication devices for communication with dispatch.
  • Ability to perform operations with units such as cups, pints, quarts, ounces, inches, feet, and yards.
