We are seeking a board-certified generalist pathologist to join our team at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Job Summary: As a Generalist Pathologist, you will be responsible for interpreting and reporting on various types of surgical specimens, non-gyn cytology, and autopsies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnoses and contributing to the high-quality patient care we strive for. Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and report on surgical specimens, non-gyn cytology, and autopsies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Pursue academic appointments at Thomas Jefferson University
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology only
  • Licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Preference given to applicants with fellowship or experience in liver and/or transplant pathology
