RN - 32 Hour Evening Shift - Spinal Cord Injury Unit

As a Registered Nurse on our Spinal Cord Injury Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and accurate nursing assessments to inform care decisions.
- Develop and implement patient-centered plans of care that reflect the patient's goals and needs.
- Provide direct patient care, evaluating and modifying care as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care activities and achieve shared goals.
- Assess patient education needs and provide education to promote self-care and independence.
- Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in team conferences and meetings to advance patient care and achieve organizational objectives.

Education and Experience
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
Required:
- Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
Required:
- Effective verbal, electronic, and written communication skills in English.
- Computer proficiency, with a preference for Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to maintain a variable work schedule, including evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and travel.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Self-directed and able to work independently, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Anticipates challenges and develops strategies to address them.
- High level of service delivery, with a focus on prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing situations.
- Attention to detail.
