The Director of Strategic Low Observable Technologies leads the development of innovative solutions to enhance missile system design and performance. This role involves mentorship, technical integrity advocacy, and the execution of complex projects that leverage computational electromagnetics and infrared signature analysis.

About the Role

  • Drive strategic initiatives in low observable technologies and signature management at Raytheon
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute complex projects
  • Mentor engineers in computational electromagnetics and infrared signature analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 12 years of experience in Low Observables or Signature Management or Computation Electromagnetic Codes, Stealth or Survivability engineering technology
  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of computational electromagnetic codes, including full wave codes and asymptotic techniques using industry standard tools such as XPATCH, CARLOS, SENTRi, etc.
  • Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reduction experience, including IR CEM tools
