We are a leading provider of senior living services, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our residents. As a compassionate and caring organization, we are seeking a skilled Driver - PRN to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Driver - PRN will be responsible for safely transporting residents to various destinations, including shopping, entertainment, worship, medical offices, and special events. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Drive daily and weekly route schedules to transport residents to various destinations
- Assist residents in and out of the bus, utilizing the wheelchair lift and/or stairs as needed
- Conduct daily checks of bus operation, including fuel, oil, wipers, fluids, and interior and exterior lights
- Notify supervisor of concerns and needs, and maintain records and logs of internal and external service
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the bus is cleaned, and respond appropriately in the event of unforeseen operational malfunctions
- Interact with residents in a friendly manner, providing meaningful attention and communicating concerns of resident's health to management as appropriate
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one-year successful experience of operating a bus
- Prior experience working with older adults is preferred
- Ability to show sincere compassion towards older adults, and demonstrate genuine concern for their physical and emotional needs
The Driver - PRN will work in a well-lighted office with appropriate ventilation and temperature levels. A clean driving record is required, and this will be verified prior to employment.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
