Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Tucson Surgery Center as a Full Time RN OR position. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care for the intra-operative patient before, during, and after surgery.
- Observe surgery and provide assistance to the sterile team and anesthesia as needed to meet the needs of the patient.
- Anticipate the needs of the team and provide assistance to meet the needs of the patient using critical skills and core knowledge of the surgical case.
- Plan, direct, participate in, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with other disciplines to provide optimal care.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a RN Circulator in the operating room if circulating in the OR.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Diploma in nursing program (Required), Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred).
- Experience: 1 or more years of experience as a RN Circulator in the OR.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS for OR.
