Key Responsibilities

  • Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the service order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
  • Identify, maintain, and repair automotive systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
  • Competitive compensation for Master Chevrolet technicians (TOP PAY GUARANTEED).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
  • Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and basic computer skills.
  • A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
