Key Responsibilities
- Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the service order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Identify, maintain, and repair automotive systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
- Competitive compensation for Master Chevrolet technicians (TOP PAY GUARANTEED).
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and basic computer skills.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
