Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Runnings. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Pet department and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Merchandising and Sales: Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned products, set priorities for distribution of new merchandise within the assigned department, and ensure adequate inventory in all areas of assigned department.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service skills.
- Team Management: Work closely with Retail Buyer(s) to ensure awareness of assigned department product needs and other product information, and assist with the training and direction provided to new department team members.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that safety is practiced when handling merchandise by employees and customers.
- Education: High School Diploma preferred.
- Experience: Customer Service training and/or experience preferred.
- Physical Demands: Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, frequent bending and twisting.
