Job Summary

Pkaza LLC is seeking a highly skilled MEP Coordinator to join our team in the data center construction industry. As a MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the field activities associated with the project, including supervision of electrical and mechanical subcontractors and self-performed work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Maintain liaison with primary clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Work Environment Management: Establish and manage critical work environment project objectives, performance standards, planning, and methods of procedure to minimize human error factors.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership of all field-related MEP mission-critical work activities and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors for proper execution.
  • Communication and Reporting: Keep all relevant parties informed of project progress throughout the life of the project.
  • MEP System Management: Manage integration and installation of MEP systems and MEP controls to ensure that all MEP equipment functions properly.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that project sites and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment at all times.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Confirm that extra charges from subcontractors/suppliers are reasonable and work is correctly executed.
  • Project Closeout: Ensure that the project closeout process is finalized, demobilize all resources, and transition the project to the client.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of commercial/critical facilities MEP construction experience.
  • Education: Construction/Engineering/Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) experience, detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Additional Requirements: Previous experience in the military or as a military veteran with experience in electrical/mechanical is a plus.
