Job Overview

Roland Machinery Company, a leading heavy equipment dealer, is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires minimum of two (2) year's full-time heavy equipment experience. A trade school degree or direct industry experience is highly desired.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and reconditioning of construction, municipal, and highway related heavy equipment and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, support, information, and guidance.
  2. Identifying product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competition.
  3. Ensuring quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  4. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending factory training.
  5. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma/GED is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also mandatory.
  • Possess a respectable set of hand tools to perform hands-on responsibilities of the position.
  • Ability to take a pre-hire mechanical aptitude test.
