Weekend Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a part-time pharmacist to join our team at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Fargo, MN. As a Weekend Pharmacist, you will work every 3rd weekend, providing excellent patient care and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Champion Thrifty White programs, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with patient enrollment.
  • Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
  • Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
  • Develop and follow up on long-term care business through immediate communication and attention to nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
  • Identify long-term care and specialty business opportunities and communicate with marketers.
  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements:
  • A pharmacy license or the ability to receive one without federal sanctions.
  • A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
  • Current Immunization Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • NPI Number.
