Recreation Manager

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Recreation Manager at Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Marina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the economic and efficient operation of a full-service marina, including slip rental, watercraft rental, and related retail operations.

• Under the direction of the Outdoor Recreation/Marina General Manager, oversee the daily operations of the marina, ensuring high standards of recreational and promotional efforts.
• Implement higher-level directives, formulate procedures, and programs to ensure the success of marina activities and events.
• Conduct inspections of the marina facility and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Manage and maintain the marina's inventory, including watercraft, equipment, and supplies.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote marina activities and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patrons and stakeholders.

• Minimum of four years of experience in marina operations, including boating, equipment maintenance, and recreational activities.
• Ability to supervise, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with staff, management, and patrons.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds independently and objects over 45 pounds with assistance.
