Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Direct Instruction: Deliver instruction and support to students with various disabilities, including learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Differentiate Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success and progress.
  • Monitor Progress: Use data-driven methods to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Record Student Progress: Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, attendance, and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Teaching License: Valid state teaching license with Special Education endorsement required.
