Role SummaryThe Packaging Solutions Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring the effective use of Sealed Air's protective packaging materials and equipment systems.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical assistance and maintenance services for Sealed Air's protective packaging solutions.
- Coordinate with customer personnel for equipment installation and provide comprehensive training on operation and maintenance.
- Analyze packaging quality and production challenges to identify solutions related to equipment, materials, or products.
- Advise clients on establishing preventative maintenance programs and spare parts inventory.
- Enhance customer relationships through regular communication, value assessments, and equipment audits.
- Support sales initiatives by providing timely completion of administrative reports and documentation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and innovative mindset.
- Proficient electrical knowledge.
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 30% of the time.
- Technical school education is preferred.
- Previous experience in servicing rotary and auxiliary equipment is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with computer applications including Email, Excel, Word, Google Apps, and CRM systems.
- Ability to collaborate across functions to achieve company objectives.
- Experience in commercial or industrial troubleshooting, installation, and servicing.
- Background in protective packaging or related fields is beneficial.
